At the Brown School of Engineering Design Showcase and Poster Session yesterday, The Rice Solar Car Team took home two awards. One of the awards, Student Choice Award, was voted by undergraduate students. They picked the Frame and Chassis Group as their favorite project at the poster session. The other award went to the BoDs subteam of the Rice Solar Car for Best Club-Organized Engineering Design Project. The whole team did an excellent job yesterday!
Talking to industry and academic engineering experts really helped us as we learned some valuable information that will help us in the future as we enter the construction phase of the car. We would like to thank everyone who voted for us and supported us yesterday, we really appreciate it!
